Despite being an animal lover of all kinds - I dont love CRAP. In the past I have posted photos of 'offending' kaka on posts on the outside of blocks to try and prick the conscience of some owners. INSIDE we havethe problem of CAT poo - the new gardeners are at least cutting the grass and COLLECTING the cuttings which was not done last year - thus spreading the piles of cat crap far and wide. However - if the problem persists - what do people think about the idea of posting little white FLAGS next to any on the grass and see how long it takes for owners top realise whats being left ? I know Ken in previous years has walked around collecting cat crap around the pool areas but it was never a HOBBY - so lets try and resolve that little problem too before it becomes a BIG-UN.

right behind you on this one Chris. Whenever ime out with Charlotte the first thing i have to do every morning is go on crap patrol so she doesnt get covered in it, as has happened before. I dont know what can be done as owners cant follow their cats like you do with a dog. I know it will sound harsh but personally i dont thik cats should be allowed in a community like Sitio. There will always be the crap problem as long as cats are allowed. Sorry to any cat owners if this seems a little drastic.

Would be nice to see at least one of the cat owners go around helping to clean up, but no, they let us silly buggers do it for them, but saying that, some one has to do it for the children's sake,ha ha i suppose we could give the kids 50cents a bucket full, ha ha ha

I have to agree Gary sadly as much as I love animmals. I think its already a RULE that no Dogs OR CATS are allowed to roam free around the gardens. There are plenty of residents who have cats but keep them indoors and use litter trays much like those with Dogs who walk them across the road down by the riverside. Its not merely seeing the mess but knowing it will be trodden around on bare feet when the pools are operating - especially with kiddies. And what some of the owners dont realise is that every fly that enters their kitchen and food might have taken its last MEAL OFF IT ! I still think once I'm up and about again (my back problem) I'll make some little flags and people can go stick them in the turds - see how long it takes for people to realise how serious it could be.
